1. Overview and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to NextShelf. These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the NextShelf platform, including any associated websites, applications, features, content, and services (collectively, the “Platform”).
Throughout these Terms, “NextShelf”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operator of the Platform, and “you” or “your” refers to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Platform, whether as a visitor, buyer, seller, or otherwise.
By accessing or using the Platform in any manner, including browsing, registering an account, listing products, or completing a transaction, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NextShelf.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease all use of the Platform.

Payments are processed through third-party providers such as Stripe. NextShelf does not control and is not responsible for payment processing operations, delays, errors, holds, account restrictions, or failures caused by such providers. By completing a transaction, you agree to the applicable payment provider’s terms and acknowledge that payouts, holds, reserves, and account status are determined solely by such providers.
NextShelf reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to delay, withhold, or cancel transactions or payouts where we suspect fraud, chargeback risk, policy violations, or risk to the Platform or its users.

Refunds issued by sellers do not include reimbursement of platform fees or payment processing fees, unless explicitly required by law. Such fees are non-refundable and remain the responsibility of the seller. Sellers are solely responsible for determining how refunds are handled, including whether to absorb associated costs.
In the event of a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal initiated by a buyer or financial institution, the seller is solely responsible for all associated amounts, fees, penalties, and liabilities. NextShelf reserves the right to recover such amounts from the seller, including through deduction from current or future payouts.
NextShelf may, at its discretion, assist in dispute resolution but does not guarantee outcomes and is not responsible for the resolution of disputes between buyers and sellers.
